The EX-1042 Expansion Box with PCI-Express adapter (EX-1095) or ExpressCard adapter (EX-1096) is specially designed to expand 2 extra PCI– or 2 x extra PCI-Express slots (for short add-on cards up to 22 cm) over the PC Motherboard or Notebook ExpressCard slot. The EX-1042 has a rugged metal housing. The EX-1042 is available with either a PCI-Express card for the desktop PC or with an ExpressCard adapter to the notebook. It’s possible to control all PCIExpress x1 cards or PCI Rev 2.1s & higher add-on cards through the PCIExpress-adapter or ExpressCard-adapter. Is ideally suited for DSP (Digital Sound Processor) based audio cards. Attention! The EX-1095 PCI-Express-card (PC) or EX-1096 ExpressCard-Adapter (Notebook) must be ordered separately.
