The EX-1196HMS is a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (previously called 3.0) metal HUB that complies with Universal Serial Bus (USB) Revision 3.2 Gen 1 specifications and operates at data speeds up to 5Gbps. It offers one USB-C upstream port and 7 downstream ports with two USB-C and five USB-A ports. The EX-1196HMS supports 15KV ESD surge protection for each port. Port 1 and 4 are equipped with a USB-C connector. It is thus possible to connect up to seven external USB peripherals to one USB 3.2 Gen 1 port from the computer in the 19" rack. The HUB meets the special requirements of industrial applications.
