The EX-47049 expansion metal box provides eight RS-232 , 422 and 485 high performance UART 16C1050 serial outputs. Each port can be independently assigned the interface type. It is designed to expand eight additional serial combo ports on the EX-47040P or EX-47045E. It supports the ATTA Auto RS-485 transmitter features. With the slave module EX-47049 it is possible to extend the EX-47040P or EX-47045E up to 32 ports. No additional power supply is needed.
