The EX-47961 RS-232 DTE to DTE extender (extender) can be used for any PC, workstation or server with an RS232 interface. The EX-47961 can be used to connect two computers (DTE to DTE) together. It is equipped with 9 pin female connectors that can be directly connected to the RS-232 serial ports of the PC. It extends the RS-232 signals up to a maximum length of 50 meters. A Cat. 5 or 6 network cable is required for transmission between the transmitter and receiver. The EX-47961 works without a power supply. The thumbscrews can be removed without tools and replaced with the supplied nuts.
