The PCI FireWire 1394A (FireWire400) card provides two external and one internal FireWire 1394A port. It is designed to add three additional FireWire 1394A high-speed ports for PCs, workstations or servers via the PCI bus to connect FireWire 1394A devices. The EX-6450 provides a high-speed I/O solution to enable users to connect fast peripherals. It also includes an internal motherboard compatible connector for FireWire front bay HUBs. Included with the EX-6450 is a low profile bracket for narrow computer cases up to 8 cm in height.
