The EX-44044-2 PCI Express I/O card provides four serial RS-232 high performance UART 16C550 outputs. It is designed to expand four additional serial ports for PC, workstation or server via PCI Express bus. The card is fully PCI Express plug-and-play compatible and has no problems with IRQ and I/O address conflicts. Additionally, +5V or +12V on pin 9 of the serial connector is configurable for a POS system (Power over System). A low profile bracket is included with the EX-44044-2, for slim computer cases up to 8cm in height.
