The EX-47951 RS-232 Extender can be used for any PC, workstation or server with an RS-232 interface. It is equipped with a 9 pin female connector that you can connect directly to your RS-232 serial port. It extends the RS-232 signals up to a maximum length of 1200 meters. For the transmission between the master and slave a Cat. 5 network cable is needed.
