RS-232 to RS-232 Converter with Surge Protection & Optical Isolation
The EX-47920 RS-232 to RS-232 adapter can be used with any PC, workstation, notebook or server with an RS-232 interface and provides surge protection and optical isolation for your RS-232 peripheral device. The EX-47920 is equipped with a DB9 female connector that can be directly connected to the PC. The DB9 connector, configured as a DCE port, isolates the three RS-232 signals (TXD, RXD and GND) to the DB9 connector which is configured as a DTE. The EX-47920 is compatible with new and older RS-232 devices and is easy to install without turning off the PC. It provides a quick way to upgrade the RS-232 interface with optical isolation and overvoltage protection.
